The movie Troll is an action-adventure fantasy story set in the mountains of Norway. The story begins when a mysterious explosion during a mountain construction project accidentally awakens a gigantic ancient creature — a legendary troll believed to exist only in Norwegian folklore.
As the massive troll starts moving toward populated areas, it leaves destruction everywhere it goes. Buildings collapse, roads are destroyed, and the government struggles to understand what this mysterious creature really is.
To solve the mystery, the government calls a paleontology expert, Nora Tidemann. With the help of her father, who has long studied ancient myths, and a team of soldiers and officials, Nora tries to uncover the truth behind the creature.
As the troll moves closer to the capital city Oslo, the team must find a way to stop it before it causes massive destruction. During their mission, they discover that the troll is connected to ancient legends and has weaknesses hidden in old folklore.
